Welcome to ISEEKAIGO Companion ("the App"), an AI companion game for anime fans operated by ISEEKAIGO ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the ISEEKAIGO Companion mobile application, available on Google Play.

This Privacy Policy applies only to ISEEKAIGO Companion. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal information is handled in a safe and responsible manner.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in using Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. Authentication is handled through Firebase Authentication.

Conversations and User Content

We collect the content you create while using the App, including:

Messages and conversations you exchange with AI companions.
Companions you create, including their appearance and personality settings.
Stories and choices you make in visual novel story modes.
Information your companions remember about you when you use the memory feature, so it can be carried into future conversations.

Your conversations are processed on our servers and by third-party AI service providers to generate companion responses.

Voice and Video

If you choose to use voice call or video call features, the App accesses your microphone and/or camera during the call. Audio and video are used only to provide the feature while you are actively using it.

Automatically Collected Data

When you use the App, we and our service providers automatically collect:

Device information (device model, operating system, and device identifiers) via device_info.
Usage data and app interactions via Firebase Analytics.
Crash and diagnostic logs via Firebase Crashlytics.
IP address and approximate network location derived from it.
Advertising ID, if ads are enabled on your device (see Section 5).

Location Data

If you use location-based features (such as the in-app map), the App accesses your device's precise or approximate location while you use those features. We do not continuously track your location in the background.

Purchase Data

In-app purchases are processed securely by Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your full payment card details. We receive only purchase confirmations and transaction identifiers needed to deliver your purchase.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Create and manage your account.
Provide and personalize the companion experience, including memory across conversations.
Generate AI companion responses, stories, and interactions.
Process in-app purchases and deliver purchased content.
Send push notifications, such as companion messages and app updates (you can disable these in your device settings).

Diagnose crashes and fix technical problems.

4. How Your Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following situations:

Service providers: Companies that perform services for us, including Google Firebase (authentication, analytics, crash reporting, cloud messaging, and data storage), Google AdMob (advertising), Google Play Billing (payments), and third-party AI service providers (generating companion responses).
Legal obligations: If required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of our users or others.
Business transfers: In connection with a merger, sale of assets, financing, or acquisition of all or part of our business.

Community companions you choose to publish may be visible to other users of the App.

5. Advertising

The App shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's Advertising ID to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. You can reset or disable the Advertising ID, or limit ad personalization, in your Android device settings.

6. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through our account deletion request page:

Once processed, account deletion removes your profile, companions, and conversation data from our active systems. We may retain limited information where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

7. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information, and data is transmitted over encrypted connections where supported. However, no security measures are perfect, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against interception or misuse.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Permissions We Use

The App requests the following device permissions, each used only for the stated purpose:

Camera (`android.permission.CAMERA`)

Used only when you start a video call with a companion. We do not access your camera in the background or capture images without your action.

Microphone (`android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO`)

Used only when you use voice features, such as voice calls or voice input with companions. We do not record or store audio unless you intentionally use these features.

Location (`ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION`, `ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION`, `ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION`)

Used to enable location-based features such as the in-app map. Background location is used only when a feature you have started requires it; we do not use it for continuous tracking.

Storage (`READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE`, `WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE`)

Used to let you save or upload media files within the App. We do not access your files without your action.

Foreground Service (`android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE`)

Used so ongoing features you start, such as voice or video calls, can continue properly while the App is active.

Google Play Billing (`com.android.vending.BILLING`)

Used to process in-app purchases securely through Google Play. We do not store your full payment details.

Advertising ID (`com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID`)

Used by Google AdMob for ad serving, measurement, and fraud prevention. You can reset or disable this ID in your device settings.

Notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging)
